   Carmine is noted for its many antiques' shops and the Spring and Fall Antiques Shows.  Its location midway between Austin and Houston make Carmine easily accessible.  Only 20 miles from the home of Bluebell Ice Cream in Brenham and surrounded by historical sites with miles of bluebonnets our RV park is truly a "Texas Retreat." 
   Enjoy our park and check out the area activities.  At Round Top, 8 miles away, there is always something happening.  Washington-on-the-Brazos, the birthplace of Texas independence, North of Brenham often has special events. 
 
    
                      

Fall is coming (and it can't get here soon enough for me).

September and October are filled with Antique Shows, Festivals, County Fairs and fun.

Aug. 28 is the free Festival Hill Preview Concert.  see www.festivalhill.org 

Sept. 2-5 in La Grange is the Fayette County Fair.

Sept. 15-18 in Brenham is the Washington County Fair.

Sept. 18 the Antiques Shows open up in Warrenton and run through Oct. 3.  The Round Top weekend starts Sept. 29 with Carmine Dance Hall and Big Red Barn venues opening.   For more information see www.roundtop.org.  Of course there are antique shops open all year around here.  A new one, Hourglass Trading Company has opened in Carmine.
